A Victorian 18th century faux bamboo pitch-pine side table. Circa mid 1800s.
A classic English design from the Victorian period, featuring distinctive faux bamboo detailing to the legs and a warm natural colour. The pitch-pine has developed a lovely patina over time and has a lovely wax-finish, highlighting the character and grain of the timber.
Restored and presented in excellent condition, with some age-appropriate wear. This includes some historic woodworm holes, which have been treated for extra measure (please see photographs for details).

A versatile piece that could be used as a hallway console, desk or side table. Particularly well suited to informal country or townhouse interiors.
