We restore with a light touch, valuing wear and patination as evidence of a piece’s former life rather than imperfections to be erased. Where possible, we retain as much as the original as possible, and traditional tools and methods are used throughout. 

Conservation guides every decision, from structural repairs to surface finishes, and each item is assessed individually on arrival, with its restoration tailored to its period and purpose. Our aim is not to return pieces to a state of newness, but to ensure they remain functional and true to their history.
