A beautiful antique Victorian upholstered armchair on castors. Estimated to be mid 1800s.
The armchair features a deep, comfortable seat with scrolled arms and a shaped back, raised on turned mahogany front legs with original castors.
Expertly reupholstered using traditional materials and methods, in keeping with its original 19th-century construction. The seat has been rebuilt with tied springs, horsehair and hand-stitched edges, and recovered in a soft olive-green Linwood velvet.
