We discussed using vintage to make a space feel like a home with Jess who is renovating her gorgeous London property.
How would you describe your interiors style?
Personal. The colours in our home are based on memories and how we want to feel in each space. Each room is filled with things we’ve collected over the years or found on our travels.
How do you use vintage in your home?
Vintage is always my first port of call, often you can find something of better quality, for a better price and it will be totally unique and tell the story of all the people who have loved it before you. It adds instant interest and character to a space.
What do you love most about sourcing vintage products?
The thrill of the find! I once found an original Mario Bellini Camaleonda sofa for a couple of hundred quid, it was described as ‘old sofa’ or something. Unfortunately I wasn’t the only one that noticed (and my conscience kicked in and I told the seller to check the label underneath). There are plenty of amazing bargains to be had though and better yet something you’ll treasure forever.
